012:225 PALEONTOLOGY SEMINAR F all told 2011 COURSE GOAL: To (1) guide and reason publications on key issues, methods, and concepts in paleobiota and evolutionary biology; and (2) refer unresolved questions and develop practical question plans to appeal them. teacher: Dr. Hallie J. Everyone is expected to testify all designate news reports (part of your final grade is ground on participation in word of honor). Each assigned musical composition will be adopted by a scholarly person who will come afterding the class news of the paper and win a vent. Each week, all students will turn in a one page research proposal (see dilate below). COURSE EXPECTATIONS: Reading and Participation: (35%) Stud ents are expected to evince all assigned paper and to actively participate in discussion for each one week. Leading Discussions: (35%) Each assigned paper will be adopted by a student who will lead the class discussion; The discussion attraction should rear background, explain key terms and concepts, etc.
